What is happening to the MoMA Design Store Rewards program?

As of July 1, 2026, we are sunsetting our Rewards program. You will no longer accumulate points on purchases or promotional activities. However, you have a 12-month window until June 30, 2027, to redeem any outstanding points balance of 150 points or more on hundreds of exciting new designs online and in-store.

How do I redeem my points?

If you have an outstanding balance of 150 points or more, you have until June 30, 2027, to redeem them online or in-store before they expire (please note that individual point balances may also have an earlier expiration date based on your account activity). Every 150 points can be redeemed for $5 off, up to a maximum of $50 off per order. To redeem online, log into your account and select your eligible redemption amount at checkout. To redeem in-store, log into your account on your mobile device to generate your reward coupon code and present it to an associate at checkout.

Are my MoMA member benefits combinable with Rewards?

No, Rewards points cannot be combined with your 10% daily member discount or Member Shopping Days promotions. However, MoMA members will still receive free standard shipping on online orders of $50 or more when redeeming their remaining points balance.

Where can I find all of my Rewards account info?

The Rewards page is your roadmap to all points and perks. You can access all your information by logging in and visiting your personalized Rewards page.

What if I have an old email address or multiple email addresses and want to combine my accounts and Points?

Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot merge accounts with different email addresses.

How do points convert to dollars?

150 points = $5 dollars.

Points convert to dollars automatically in your account and then you can apply the dollars towards future purchases. For every 150 points, you receive $5. 

The maximum redemption value per order is 1500 points that equals $50. 

Redemption options: 150 points = $5.00; 300 points = $10.00; 450 points = $15.00; 600 points = $20.00; 750 points = $25.00; 900 points = $30.00; 1050 points = $35.00; 1200 points = $40.00; 1350 points = $45.00; 1500 points = $50.00

Can my points be exchanged or cashed out for actual currency?

No, points do not have a cash value, points cannot be cashed out and can only be converted to Rewards to use with MoMA Design Store purchase.

What items are excluded from redeeming points?

Sales Tax 

Select products*

Tickets to MoMA or MoMA PS1, purchases in restaurants at MoMA, or donations to MoMA

Returns

Can I return my order if I redeemed Rewards points for a discount?

Yes. If you are returning the entire order, we will refund you the total dollar amount spent after the discount was applied. The points you used to redeem the discount will also be added back into your Rewards account.

Reward Expiration

Points expire after one year of inactivity

Your points will expire after one year of inactivity. Inactivity includes not interacting with our program i.e., redeeming points, placing an order or buying a MoMA membership. Visit My Account to check your status.

Your points and perks will expire after 365 days of inactivity, or when the program’s redemption period ends, on July 1, 2027, whichever comes first. We also reserve the right to terminate any person’s Rewards if we believe they are violating our {{Link to Terms and Conditions}}, reselling products, exploiting the program, making excessive returns, engaged in fraud, abuse of privileges or inappropriate behavior that seeks to manipulate the Rewards program, or for any other reason we deem necessary based on our sole discretion. If your account is terminated by you or us, or you opt-out of the Rewards program, you will lose any unused Rewards as well as all points that have not been redeemed.
